Trendyol Integration
Gods Of Sale's Trendyol integration covers two separate jobs. Hermes measures the publicly visible price, ranking, stock status, and campaign movements on the marketplace at regular intervals. XML Manager whereas XML Manager converts your supplier XML feed into product records through the Trendyol Product V2 API. Neither accesses competitors' internal data such as units sold, revenue, or profit margin.
What data does Hermes track on Trendyol?
Hermes reads only storefront-visible data: the product's list and discounted price, its position in category and search results, whether it is in stock, and campaign and badge changes. These measurements at an hourly or daily rate, depending on your subscription plan are repeated and become a time series. What matters is not a single snapshot but how the same product moves over weeks.
Six features work together on the Trendyol side: Opportunity Product Hunter, Competitor Analytics, Trend Tracking, Instant Price Change Alerts, Category-Based Demand Forecasting and Marketplace Comparison Dashboard. For the daily practice of price tracking, see the Trendyol price tracking guide, and for the competitor selection method, competitor analysis guide you can find it.
Trendyol product transfer with XML Manager
XML Manager takes your supplier's XML feed, maps its fields to the structure Trendyol expects, and Trendyol Product V2 API transfers it through. Mapping the category, brand, attribute, and variant fields is the real work of setup; the messier the feed, the longer the mapping takes. When the feed is updated, the transfer can be repeated.
The only supported target is the Trendyol Product V2 API. Product transfer to another marketplace, order pulling, and invoicing or shipping flows are outside this scope. The general logic of the API side is marketplace API integration explained in our article; for the order side, Trendyol order management page gives a general framework.
Where does the limit of competitor data begin?
How many units a competitor has sold, its revenue, supply cost, and profit margin cannot be seen with any external tool. This data reaches only that seller's own panel. Any tool that promises otherwise is either generating guesses or mislabeling what it measures.
What can be seen from outside are signals: how often the price changes, when stock runs out, where rankings settle after a campaign. When these signals are read together, a competitor's behavioral pattern emerges, not a sales figure. To measure net profit on your side, ProfitPulse, for search visibility, SeoScope work separately.
How to do it step by step?
1. Narrow down the product and competitor list to watch
Tracking the entire catalog creates noise. Start with the products that rank highest for revenue and margin, and with competitors who truly sell to the same buyers.
2. Choose the scan frequency based on the pace of the business
Hourly scanning makes sense in categories where the price moves several times a day. Daily scanning is enough in categories where the price stays fixed for weeks.
3. Define alert thresholds
Getting notified of every small fluctuation makes alerts meaningless. Set the threshold at a deviation large enough to actually change a decision.
4. Connect your XML feed and map the fields
Map the category, brand, attribute, and variant fields in the supplier feed to the Trendyol structure. Try the first transfer with a small product group.
5. Make pricing decisions together with the profit side
Verify the price difference shown by Hermes ProfitPulse with and profit margin calculator using the tool. After commission and shipping, the picture may change.
6. Set up a weekly reading rhythm
Instead of reinterpreting the data every day, review competitor movements, ranking changes, and your own margin together once a week.
What is measured and what is not on the Trendyol side
| Data or action | Source | Gods Of Sale scope |
|---|---|---|
| Competitor selling price and discount | Publicly visible product page | Hermes tracks and alerts on changes |
| Category and search ranking | Marketplace's internal search | Hermes and SeoScope tracks |
| In stock / sold out status | Product page view | Hermes tracks; used as a signal |
| Campaign and badge change | Storefront view | Hermes tracks |
| Product transfer (XML feed) | Supplier feed | XML Manager transfers via the Product V2 API |
| Competitor units sold, revenue, margin | The seller's own panel | Out of scope — not visible from outside |
Common mistakes
1. Lowering your price immediately upon seeing a competitor's price. If the pricing decision is made without knowing the margin left after commission, shipping, and advertising, revenue grows while profit shrinks.
2. Putting dozens of competitors on tracking at once. Movements by sellers who do not sell to the same buyers do not change your decision; they only fill the alert feed and hide the real signal.
3. Treating a single measurement as a trend. One day's price may be a campaign, a stock run-out, or a test. A pattern only shows up in a series spanning several weeks.
4. Trying to transfer the XML feed without mapping. Products sent without mapped category and attribute fields are rejected; sorting out the errors afterward takes longer than mapping upfront.
Limitations: what does it not cover?
Applying these with awareness lets you set realistic expectations:
Hermes does not change prices automatically. It measures and alerts; price updates are made by you, in your own panel. The logic of automatic pricing dynamic pricing we discussed in our article.
A competitor's internal data can never be seen under any circumstances. Units sold, revenue, supply cost, and profit margin are closed to the outside. No external tool can measure them; those claiming to offer estimates provide assumptions, not measurements.
Scan frequency is not real-time. Hourly or daily depending on the subscription plan. A price movement made and reverted between two measurements may not be recorded.
XML Manager supports only the Trendyol Product V2 API. Product transfer to Hepsiburada and Amazon Turkey is not within scope. Order, shipping, and invoicing flows are also not this tool's job.
Personalized storefront differences can affect measurements. A marketplace may show different rankings depending on the user or location. Measurement is a consistent viewpoint, not an exact copy of every buyer's screen.
Frequently asked questions
Does Hermes connect to the Trendyol API?
The price, ranking, stock, and campaign data Hermes tracks is publicly visible storefront data. On the product transfer side, XML Manager it uses the Trendyol Product V2 API.
Can Hermes automatically update my price?
No. Hermes measures and alerts on changes; you set the price. This is a deliberate limit that prevents a wrong rule from pushing your catalog into losses in a single move.
Can I see how many units my competitor sold?
No. Units sold stay in the seller's own panel. What you can see is price, stock, and ranking movements; behavior comes out of these, not numbers.
How often are scans performed?
Hourly or daily, depending on your subscription. Hourly tracking makes more sense for categories where prices move often during the day; daily tracking for stable categories.
Does XML Manager perform order and stock synchronization?
No. XML Manager transfers products from the supplier feed to the Trendyol Product V2 API. For the general logic of stock synchronization, see this article. is worth a look.
Doing it with the tool
The way to set up the Trendyol integration correctly is to keep the scope clear from the start: Hermes measures what is visible on the storefront, XML Manager transfers products via the Product V2 API; the profitability decision ProfitPulse is made on the profit side. A setup that does not mix these three jobs produces usable signals instead of alert noise.
Before you start, write down the product group and competitor list you want to measure; then page or choose the plan that fits your scan frequency from the page. If you want to discuss how the setup will look in your own catalog, you can submit a demo request or contact write via the page.
