Amazon Turkey Integration

On the Amazon Turkey side, Gods Of Sale's job is monitoring. Hermes, for the ASINs you add to your watch list, it measures the publicly visible selling price, Buy Box ownership changes, category and search ranking, and stock and campaign status, hourly or daily depending on your subscription plan. Product transfer is out of scope: XML Manager it works only with the Trendyol Product V2 API.

Why does ASIN-based tracking work differently?

On Amazon, the same product is grouped under a single ASIN listing, and multiple sellers compete on the same listing. That is why your tracking unit is the ASIN, not the product name. When Hermes starts tracking an ASIN, it accumulates the price movement, Buy Box ownership changes, and ranking position for that listing in one series.

The six features are likewise active on Amazon Turkey: Opportunity Product Hunter, Competitor Analytics, Trend Tracking, Instant Price Change Alerts, Category-Based Demand Forecasting and Marketplace Comparison Dashboard. We gathered the channel-specific competitor reading method Amazon Turkey Competitor Analysis in our article.

Reading Buy Box movement

Who holds the box can be observed from outside; why the box why changes hands cannot be observed. On Amazon, box decisions depend on factors beyond price, such as shipping time, stock continuity, returns, and performance indicators, and these weights are not disclosed. So Hermes tells you "the box changed hands on this date at this price range," but does not give you the formula.

What works in practice is correlation: reading back the price gap and your stock status at the moments you lost the box shows at what threshold competition intensified. Reading this alongside Buy Box and price tracking article together prevents drawing a wrong conclusion from a single loss.

Product transfer is out of scope

To be explicit: Gods Of Sale does not send products to Amazon Turkey. Opening listings, creating ASINs, updating catalogs or variants, pulling orders, and the shipping and invoicing flows are out of scope. XML Manager's only supported target is the Trendyol Product V2 API; BulkLoad whereas bulk image uploading is performed only for WooCommerce and Shopify.

The tools that can help on the content side are delivery-focused: Descript Bot they generate product descriptions in Turkish and English, RenderKit and deliver processed images within 24-48 hours through the expert team. Uploading the generated content to Amazon remains your job.

How to do it step by step?

1. Build the list of ASINs to track

Start with the ASINs that carry revenue and face intense Buy Box competition, rather than the entire catalog; readability drops as the list grows.

2. Flag competitors on the same listing

On Amazon, competition is usually within the same ASIN. Track similar products on different listings as a separate group; do not mix them.

3. Choose the scan frequency based on Buy Box competition

Hourly scanning makes sense for ASINs where the box changes hands frequently during the day; daily is enough where competition is stable.

4. Set separate alert thresholds for price and Buy Box changes

Price deviation and Buy Box loss are events of different urgency; tracking both against the same threshold obscures what matters.

5. Make the decision together with margin

Check what the discount needed to win back the box leaves after commission and shipping ProfitPulse or break-even price calculator using the relevant tool.

6. Review cross-channel differences regularly

Read the position of the same product on Trendyol, Hepsiburada, and Amazon Turkey through the Marketplace Comparison Dashboard on a weekly rhythm.

Common mistakes

1. Automatically cutting prices when you lose the box. The cause of losing the box may not be price; shipping time or stock interruptions also play a role. Changing the wrong variable needlessly erodes your margin.

2. Trying to track by product name. On Amazon, competition is at the ASIN level. Tracking by name causes you to miss the actual competitors on the same listing.

3. Treating a single Buy Box loss as a trend. The box can change hands several times a day. What matters is the price range in which it is permanently lost.

4. Judging the Amazon price by the margins of other channels. Commission and shipping structures vary by channel; the same list price does not leave the same profit on every channel.

Limitations: what does it not cover?

Applying these with awareness lets you set realistic expectations:

No product transfer to Amazon Turkey is performed. Opening listings, creating ASINs, and updating catalogs are out of scope. XML Manager supports only the Trendyol Product V2 API.

The weights of the Buy Box algorithm cannot be known. Who gets the box can be observed; which criteria are weighted how cannot be observed. Hermes measures the outcome; it does not explain the cause.

Competitors' internal data cannot be seen with any external tool. Units sold, revenue, supply cost, and profit margin stay in the seller's own panel. From outside, only price, stock, and ranking signals can be read.

Hermes does not change prices automatically. It measures and alerts; the pricing decision is yours. The risks of automatic rules dynamic pricing we discussed in our article.

Measurement is not real-time. Scan frequency is hourly or daily depending on the subscription; short-lived movements between two measurements may not be recorded.
